This recognition reflects my commitment to providing high-quality mediation services, drawing on over 36 years of experience as a commercial barrister. My background includes acting as a barrister in a broad range of legal areas, from commercial matters and personal injuries to insolvency and construction. I have appeared in all levels of Queensland and Federal Courts, including the High Court of Australia, representing diverse clients across various jurisdictions.
I am professionally accredited with the Bar Association of Queensland under the Australian National Mediation Accreditation System. I’m also an approved mediator for the Supreme and District Courts and have served on the Bar Association of Queensland’s Alternate Dispute Resolution Committee from 2015 to 2024. My mediation appointments include mediating franchise disputes for ASBFEO and farm debt disputes for QRIDA.
Beyond my legal career, I have over 30 years of experience in executive corporate roles, spanning business services, property management, mobile data collection, and communications. Most recently, I consult with Pogozo, a practice management software company for Physiotherapists and other allied health professionals. This diverse experience provides me with a unique perspective in understanding and resolving complex disputes.
